A/N #2: I wrote this as a gift for tracy_loo_who’s 23rd birthday. We’ve been friends now for, like, seven years (can you believe it, love?!), and she’s been a rock in my life since September 18th 2005 when she sent me an email entitled “click for penis enlargement. :D”.

I wanted to do something for her birthday because I love her so much, and so I went back to find that email, hoping to be inspired to write her something she’d love. At first, I thought it would be something Harry/Draco because that’s sort of how we roll, but once I got there, I realized that September 18th is also the anniversary of the day Castiel pulled Dean from Hell. I’m not even sure what to think of that, because I think it may be one of the biggest coincidences ever or maybe just proof that fate exists or something.

So, I wrote her a Dean/Castiel fic. And I based it on a lot of stuff, but mostly something from “The Rapture” that also reminded me of the first time she ever came to visit me. Remember, Trace? That was such an awesome day. :D

Anyway. Dean/Castiel is not actually a ship I’ve ever really read (other than her stories, obviously) or written before. Thus, bear with me. I wrote this for somebody I love dearly, hoping to make her day a little brighter. Happy early birthday, babe. And happy anniversary! Love you tonnes! ♥
